We help build confidence in Girls & Women by IGNITING their DIVINE ENERGY!
An estimated 3,300+ youth experience homelessness in metro Atlanta at any given time (Covenant House Georgia). These young people may be living on the streets, staying in emergency shelters, or "couch-surfing" with friends or acquaintances because they lack a safe and stable place to call home.
Why It Happens

Many homeless youth come from backgrounds without stable family support or positive adult mentors.

50% of youth who age out of foster care become homeless within six months, demonstrating how the absence of long-term support can quickly lead to housing instability and poverty.

42% of homeless youth in Atlanta report experiencing childhood abuse.

LGBTQ+ youth are disproportionately affected, with many becoming homeless after being rejected or forced out of their homes.
The Impact of Homelessness
Without a safe and stable home or consistent adult guidance, homeless girls face barriers that affect every aspect of their lives, including:

Inadequate clothing and other basic necessities
When daily survival becomes the priority, education, career goals, and personal growth are often placed out of reach.
Support Our Mission
Our fundraising initiatives support youth and families impacted by the foster care system. Through the generosity of donors and sponsors, we provide essential resources, academic support, and life and career skills at no cost to the youth we serve.

Every donation and sponsorship helps us continue providing critical resources, restore confidence, and create opportunities for youth in foster care. Together, we can make a lasting difference—one child, one family, and one community at a time.

Blended Families is a documentary follows a dedicated family in Georgia who has fostered children for over 20 years, opening their hearts and home to dozens of kids from the state’s foster care system. Through their journey, the film reveals the challenges and triumphs of fostering, shedding light on the deep bonds formed with each child and the transformative power of unconditional love. It also highlights the complexities and critical needs within Georgia’s foster care system, where limited resources often mean children face uncertain futures. The family’s story is a testament to resilience, compassion, and the lasting impact of a nurturing environment. We will engage with some of the agencies that train individuals that are interested in fostering or adopting children in the foster care system.
Our Women owned production crew, Annie's Way Production is combined with former foster youth, military veterans and interns who are apart of our current programs.

ABOUT
OUR ORGANIZER
Demetrice 'Demi' Dixon, wife, mother of 3, career woman and community leader. Demi began mentoring girls at the early age of 12 when she became a foster sister. Growing up, Demi was the youngest of 6 siblings until she became a big sister to kids in foster care. This passion was instilled in Demi from childhood. After graduating high school Demi became a mother at the age of 19. Her journey as a young mother, wife and business owner at once all while needing mentorship, birthed Purpose.
