Girls will get 6 weeks of education, arts, fun activities and life and career building skills through hands on learning in Beauty and Business and Film/TV! Classes are held every Saturday beginning May 24- July 12, 2025. Spaces are limited! Act FAST!! Class is held on Saturday from 9am-12pm in Atlanta GA.
For Girls Only is a Safe Place for Girls
We believe when girls have a community , they thrive! We have weekly, biweekly and monthly meetups in person or virtual for girls to provide academic support, access to mental wellness resources, therapeutic and self care services! We also provide mentorship, music, film, television and beauty workshops. Breakfast and Lunch is served. This is a free community for Girls Only! Join Today!
Program Impact
Structured intervention programs – like the Demi U mentorship and training program for girls – have shown great promise in interrupting cycles of poverty and homelessness. By providing consistent mentorship, life-skills education, and career exposure, such programs fill the resource gap that at-risk girls face. Evidence from similar initiatives demonstrates substantial benefits: a long-term study of a free youth development program in a low-income community found that participants were twice as likely to graduate college as non-participants

We believe all girls deserve the opportunity to experience confidence and success! Your sponsorship or donation can help a girl achieve both through our program!
Even when special programs exist to broaden youths’ horizons (e.g. technology camps, film and television industry workshops, etc.), financial constraints are a major barrier for inner-city girls. Many low-income families simply cannot afford program fees, equipment, or transportation. A recent national survey found that about one-third of parents (32%) did not enroll their child in a desired summer program due to cost (news.gallup.com).
Career-oriented programs (such as film/TV industry training or coding bootcamps) often have high fees or require taking unpaid time off, which is not feasible for youth from families struggling financially. These barriers mean that girls in poverty miss out on resume-building summer experiences, internships, and specialized training that their more affluent peers can access. The result is an ever-widening skills gap: without exposure to such enrichment, underserved girls have fewer opportunities to explore careers and gain pre-professional experience during their formative years.
